great video, many people think dexter would kill innocent people if he couldn’t kill but i don’t believe that, many forget he held back until he was 18(?) and him not killing batista shows that even further considering batista wanted him on death row

no doakes stared it then Marian then Batista. here is why: So we all know that doakes literally known for the Start what type men he was , after Dexters slides were found in doakes car they literally had concrete proof that doakes was the BHB , before his death he told marian what he thought of Dexter she didn't delive him, after he died Marian had to go back to the BHB case but she didn't need to because doakes literally had been proven as BHB after she died Batista also went into their tracks trying to prove that Dexter was the BHB but didn't have proof so he went to the short king and spilled everything then his death. all of this could had been stopped if Marian stopped after doakes death.

He only kills killers. Batista knew that. He sees Dexter with a Pretor. And still goes directly to him. He had to have know something is of about Pretor cuz bbb wont target inocent. So he is an idot

imo dexter with the weapons all around & batista could beat lil pratter. Pratter had a revolver and he is a terrible shot. we also saw dexter throwing an axe and knocking Charlie's ( an actual competent shooter) weapon out of her hand

one of the reasons I love the show is because it's not so cut and dry those that died as "collateral damage" could not be considered Dexter's fault because it takes away personal responsibility from those that did the actual killing Maria's death was debs fault, doakes death was lilas and barista was praeter and on top of that they all also have responsibility in their own deaths both doakes, batista and maria didn't follow the law no matter how long it would take to take him down and deb didn't turn him in because of their connection even though it would have been the right thing for a cop to do

This could have all been avoided if Batista had sat down and had a decent discussion with Dexter in the first place. I still don't get why he was hell-bent on getting Dexter, when there wasn't any evidence pointing from Doakes (who was NOT a good person), Maria (who was never a nice person), and Deb (who got killed by Saxon). If he had taken a moment to talk to Dexter, I'm sure Dexter could have lied straight to his face and Batista would have bought it.

He did…he refused to follow the law, refused to act like a cop outside the law even for the sake of logic like securing the victim, it was obvious to everyone that Dex didn’t end Deb as he had an alibi but he clearly had a mental breakdown and stole her body, it was clear Maria was shot, not at all the MO of the Butcher and someone else took the fall for that and it was backed up by Deb and other cops who no one else questioned…not even Angel so what’s the theory there? That Dex fooled them all into it? He didn’t. He legit was mentally insane psychosis in the end or he would have realized the bigger criminal and his errors. He regularly was willing to not only put people in danger to feed his delusion, he was willing to break the law, he was also willing to traumatize orphans, and let other killers go.

Nah , Batista should’ve known better to read the room in that moment. His blind obsession to catch Dexter got himself in that situation. He had a lot of chances to walk out.
