Was it worth paying $400/night for? 🤔 We stayed at the Muji Hotel Ginza on our last trip to Japan, and along with the eco-friendly wood veneers, it was an eye-opening experience indeed!! 🏨 The Room The lighting and interior was perfectttt and were very subtle. There’s a tablet which could control everything from the lights to the air-conditioning. ⏰ We set an alarm for 7am the next day, and even automated the curtains being drawn open!! 🧖‍♀️ Amenities They gave us a list of amenities that we could take home! It’s the usual stuff like toiletries, but it came with some Muji bedroom slippers that we both loved!! The room comes with an air purifier, speaker, coffee machine (Muji-branded Nespresso type) and a kettle. ⛱️ Facilities The hotel itself is pretty bare bones, since the main selling point is it being retrofitted with everything Muji. There’s no gym/pool/sauna, but there’s a pretty cool vending machine full of Muji drinks and travel essentials. 🍳 Breakfast The buffet breakfast is only exclusive to hotel guests, and it was some pretty healthy and clean fare; as expected of Muji! We loved how everything was so clean-tasting and fresh. 💲Price We paid $380.39 (¥40,716) for the room + breakfast. You can definitely get a Type A or B room which is cheaper, but for the date we had, only the Type C room was available. I only paid for the room upon check-in. Our stay here was mostly for the experience… but, do you think it was worth it? 🤔 - #mujihotel #mujihotelginza #hotelstokyo #japantravel #tokyotravel #tokyotravelguide #hotelmuji
