There’s no exact body count for civilian casualties in the Iraq war, because Irq couldn’t and the US simply didn’t want to. Although, a research group at Brown University reported in 2023 that at least 408,749 civilians were killed. Started over Saddam Hussein’s ALLEGED possession of weapons and ALLEGED ties to al-Qaeda (both claims were false…) mind you there was no draft either, soldiers in the war were during it voluntarily. It was lwk just an excuse to mess up a Middle Eastern country and continue to occupy the area (add wanting oil somewhere in there)

I get what your trying to say but movies like platoon, full metal jacket, jarhead ect actually made me realise how evil the us military industrial complex is which actually convinced me not to join the military when I was seriously considering it.
