im a worker, its an old promo/celebration but people dont buy those totes a lot so its just old stock, you can find pins and lanyards with it too

I think because it's starlight week. all the storws dig up old inventory especially promotional stuff like posters, pre order bonuses etc and sell them off to raise money for charity

They made too many bags and nobody wanted them. When the store I worked at closed we sent 3 boxes of them that nobody knew we had to another store. They cost money and barely fit anything in it so legit in the year or two we had them that I worked there I maybe sold 10 total.

okay.. the only logical explanation is something like.. the current supply for the bags is delayed and they are using old stock from 3 yrs ago dug out of the back store room.. thats the only way for the math to math.. otherwise.. someone made a really silly mistake.. and they are now looking for a new job..
