Unicorn breaking apart to show the crystals within its body symbolizes Banagher accepting the burden of truth in the UC era, and Banshee lending its power to Unicorn to stop the Colony Laser is kind of giving its voice to save what's precious to its pilots. Last but not least, Phenex saving its pilot and also the galaxy was the cherry on top, because the three Gundams used their powers for good before flying off to the stars, waiting for the moment they're called upon again.
