it happened to me 2months ago. What amazed me more though, was that I couldn't emotionally remember my self with them. I mean, I felt like someone else had told me about a relationship I had, one that never existed in my life. I have the some memories if I try to remember, but no connection between me and those memories. I don't see my self in those memories. It was the strangest feeling ever.

They look different for so many reasons- they mirror us and our light so when it’s gone they are missing a sense of self. They can only imitate they don’t have their own. When they find a new partner you’ll see them shapeshift. It’s also because we are so disgusted once we finally see the real person and lift the rose colored glasses, that the person we once loved is truly gone. You never can see them the old way again.
