Abu$ive people are normally are very good at playing people. Very charming, very attentive, love bombing, etc. By the time they show their true colors they normally have already systematically destroyed their partners support system and taken away any way out. Then by the time their partner sees that, it’s normally a fear for their life or already broke down mentally which makes it hard to leave. This is coming from seeing people in abusive relationships/psychology point of view.
