I think it’s genuinely not that big of a deal and it’s normal to wait 3-4 years before a proposal especially if your both in your 18’s 19’s and early twenties. Like gurl if you’re settling so young for a guy who you’ve known for 2 years that’s a little bit of a hazard.

Don’t get me wrong, but marriage is just a contract. Being a wife or a girlfriend doesn’t guarantee loyalty. Isn’t it better to wait and if the guy is not loyal, to simply leave him? When you are married, things are more complicated.
