I have both but I love both my boy and my girls the same they are all my angel babies. My grandma always favored my Pa over his sister and that shit was weird it was the same when she had grandkids she preferred my brother and cousin and was so mean to me which was wild.

Speaking as someone who has a mother in law that thinks she’s married to her sons… the vibe you give is that you’d be besties with your daughter in laws & treat them like your own daughters, aware of your sons flaws as much as you love them. That’s the kind of MIL we all wish for!

I have 2 boys and 1 girl. I don’t get it at all. I love my babies equally, some days one may get on my nerves less than the others but that’s about it. But I also don’t get how some moms and dads think you need to be standoffish towards their boys. I still hug my boys as much as my daughter etc.
