But how do you get into scripture it’s just so hard to apply it ??? I pray and have a good relationship and have faith but getting into scripture is just difficult because it’s hard to dig deep.

Well, this is my perspective. Once the Bible is there to help you or the shape your mind towards God and to help you to develop your spiritual senses so you could begin to hear directly from God the Adam never had a Bible, but God talk to him daily and that’s what we need to get back toreconnecting a re-establishing our relationship with the Holy Spirit see when Christ came or you’re sure a.k.a. Jesus brought Christ, which is the manifestation of the kingdom of heaven, which is the kingdom of God

Hey so I been in his word for an around 2 months now. But I started from the first page and I just read until I finish the Bible. I haven’t been feeling like he’s really talking to me idk if it’s cause the scriptures I’m reading or idk. I’m on numbers now tho

From what I experienced, I read the word, have a consistent prayer life at an specific hour and also include the Holy Spirit in absolutly everything, you can hear from God through his spirit especially when it comes to him checking you and transforming you which he himself is an accountability partner. The community aspect is great, but the truth is we also need to learn to test our own spirit and truly surrender our pride and be intentional about the things we ask, like God purify my heart, make me hate what you hate etc. The Holy Spirit is referenced for a reason, he is who do the transformation and speaks.

We define relationship differently... "Relationship with God" to me, means reading the word, submitting to His will, praising, praying without ceasing, spending time in your secret place, etc. Anything else - for me- is not being in relationship with God.

Thank you for this 🫶 Today’s verse was James 5:16 and it really hit me. I’ve been struggling in my walk with God, especially since I’m shy, I’m used to not asking help from people, and it’s hard finding real accountability/peers. Most teens around me feel lukewarm, so it gets tough. I’m trying my hardest for the Lord. This was really encouraging 💕

i understand what you’re saying, IMO tho i think having a relationship is seeking him and the relationship you talk about is just having a religion with god. Because a relationship is both people doing their parts and God will always do his you just need to do yours which is what you said with those verses
