Aveda does the bare minimum when it comes to education in my opinion but I’ve heard that’s the same with most schools,educate yourself and download esthi apps to prep for the exam but most importantly make the most of your experience and have fun🤍

i didn’t go to aveda but assuming my school is similar, DO NOTTTTT let yourself get behind on work. ever. it will be your biggest downfall if you start slacking

Aveda esthi graduate here 🫶🏽 Aveda is very very surface level. You’ll find yourself learning more about certain subjects more than the other so continued education after graduation is super important. Also STAY ONTOP OF ATTENDANCE!! Makeup hours can be very inconvenient. Lean on your classmates and make new friends to lean on during this time! you’ll have so much fun you got this!! 💕

I went to aveda in Las Vegas, it was good! Just a little ghetto😂 but once you graduate definitely take extra courses!! Also don’t miss days, it really does fly by!!

i just started at paul mitchell!! come to school every day 15 minutes early (trust me it adds up). TAKE NOTES!!! you are the one who decides what kinda day you have so come in with a good attitude and leave with the same mindset. just have fun too, you’re in a school full of opportunities so don’t stress so much!!

Glam and beyond on YouTube helped me pass my exams first try anddddd show up for your hours it’ll push you back alot if you miss days, and really just worry about memorizing and understanding the layers of the skin, diseases and disorders and infection control
