I have adored Pavarotti all my life, but every singer brings a new light to a romanza. There’s no point in constantly comparing others to him — yes, he remains one of the greatest, but this rendition was truly wonderful in its own right. It’s important to give every new singer a chance to shine. When Maria Callas passed away, people said there would never be another soprano like her, yet many phenomenal singers have since emerged — some, in my opinion, even surpassing her in certain aspects. Besides, Pavarotti wasn’t perfect in everything; he never truly excelled in Neapolitan songs or in pieces that required mezzavoce, where Enrico Caruso was an unmatched master.

Excelente cantante. Es inevitable comparar a cualquiera que cante Nessun dorma con Pavarotti. A veces las leyendas hacen sombra a los otros artistas. Sin embargo la interpretación, la entonación y el timbre de Karahan son excelentes!
