I always say “people don’t stop robbing you because you don’t have the appropriate shoes on that day” 🤣🤣🤣 I also have seen kids dunk in crocs soooo 💁🏽♀

I’ve had kids get injured directly because of their slides I told them not to play in. But I teach middle/high school

Back in the 50s, we wore hard-soled oxfords, penny loafers, and other shoes that MIGHT make black scuff marks on the gym floor. Those aren’t worn any more! But I think that reasoning morphed into a rule that used safety rather than the scuff marks as a reason.
