@lizz.shine4: Here are some realities that I face as a trans woman living in the United States of America. I know this is the common experience of lots of different types of trans folks, but my lived experience. Is that of a trans woman. I’m putting this on here not to gain sympathy, but so folks can better understand the realities that we are facing not things that we will face but what we are actually going through as trans people. We are a very small group of folks who are just trying to live their lives and yet every day feels like a constant Assault on our very existence. Someone commented here that they are afraid to fly good friend of mine on here and that’s a harsh reality. I have extreme anxiety about flying every time I go through security it’s traumatic there’s only a couple of people who I will even think of flying with.
