@eventingmustang: Another eventful session with Twisty! First day back to work after his horse show break, I’m trying to do a bit more with him and push him just a little bit more. He’s gotten to the point where he’s pretty comfortable with things and understands a lot, he just needs more experience with everything! So we started by expanding the idea of lunging, and adding the line, worked on small circles and bending his body. Introduced the saddle for the first time, he had his typical reaction of porpoising around, then was able to trot and canter nicely without much fuse. After that we just worked with turning with the pressure and following the line!
