This is how to shop for raw dairy in the US… I prefer raw dairy over pasteurized dairy…. Many people find dairy can be a problem for them, sometimes this is due to lactose intolerance (see below for fix)… And sometimes it is due to an immune reaction to pasteurized dairy products… There is good evidence that kids who consume RAW (unpasteurized= unheated) dairy have less allergy, eczema and asthma… The same cannot be said for pasteurized dairy… It appears that heating milk, cheese, etc above 165 degrees F causes changes in the confirmation of the whey protein… And this heat denatured whey protein loses some of the immune benefits of whey from raw dairy products… It may also be a trigger of immune reactions (skin issues etc) in some people… If you are sensitive to dairy but would like to include this in your diet, try raw milk, raw cheese (which is pretty easy to find at grocery stores like Whole Foods), or raw cream… rawmilk.com If you have lactose intolerance (like I do), opt for raw cheese or fermented raw dairy = kefir… Kefir is easy to make by combining raw milk with kefir “grains” (these are actually bacterial cultures, not real grains like wheat or oats)… Some grocery stores also carry “low temperature” pasteurized milk and cream (145 degrees F for 20-40 min vs 200-300F), which is probably better than traditional pasteurization in terms of the whey protein in milk… Raw milk, cheese, and cream are incredibly nutritious additions to your #animalbased diet of organ#animalbased@heartandsoilsupplements), meat, fruit, and honey. Welcome to #theremembering
