Whenever something like this happens to me, I just own up to my mistake and am super nice and understanding to the workers and they usually end up putting in extra effort to help me. Being nice has its perks.

I was standing behind a very rude and entitled person who was giving a lot of attitude. She was refused boarding and put in a much later flight. As I was behind her, I was almost giving up and asked politely if there were still seats. I was instantly assigned a seat and told me she is giving me a seat as I was the only polite person who spoke to them the whole day. I got a seat because I was respectful and didn't yell at them.

When I was still at the airport I had the emergency number memorized. Like I have no problems calling airport police if folks want to act a fool and be unreasonable when im trying to help them. 🤦♂️
