My world shattered March24-23 My son was 13 years old. He was on acne medicine. He was telling his friends Thursday that he was wanting to take his own life. He showed him the gun not one friend told he took his own life Friday night. Tell your kids if someone saying they’re gonna hurt their self to tell someone it would’ve saved my kids life. No parents should have to live through this pain it is unbearable. Prayers for you Mama. Get the word out.

I’m so sorry. My son struggles with depression, and I ask him frequently whether he wants to take his own life. My therapist says I shouldn’t. And I won’t get into it here, but right now I’m bubbling up inside with rage and tears and expletives thinking about how much the mental health care system has failed us personally. My child is being raised by two stable, educated adults with insurance, and we can’t get him the help he needs. What chance does anyone with fewer resources have? Sorry if this was a tangential rant.

Dec 2 2015 my oldest cousin took his life. The struggle of trying to find answers to a question that won’t be answered was hard as a 17 year old kid to understand and took me down a path that wasn’t good. A song came a long in 2017 called one more light by Likin park I how have lyrics form that song on my arm that has my cousin guitar on it. I am sorry for lost
