because it's big scenery, whatever color you pick is going to reflect that part of the atmosphere in the painting. if you go Yellows or peachy hues it's going to give sunset or sunrise. light blues and greens might feel summery, dark blues murky, dark greens and grays will give foggy or overcast, lighter purples will give dusky. unless you go with any pastel color, then it'll feel kind of rococo. your home is beautiful, I hope this was helpful.
