I’m a 介護士, almost every care home facility are understaffed! To the point we can take it anyone who’s willing to learn, no experience. If they take in foreigners, like me, we’re usually young. We can do a lot of work. But if it’s Japanese, MOST are old already, I’m the youngest and I’m 26, the rest are in their 50s-70s. There aren’t many young Japanese who wants to do care work! It’s physically demanding.

The young guy is not looking at things at a whole. He only looks at increasing salary but where does the revenue to make up the increase going to come from. Things going to get more expensive and it goes back to square one.

Hello Japan, this is writing from Singapore. Yes there are benefits to foreign labour into our country. It is a cheap and easy way out because our gov dont have other solution. Their only excuse is "what solution do you have?" Because they have none.

Immigrants are FINE. This is where the problem is. They talk about immigrants but the current immigrants ALL have bachelors degrees and they are working to keep their current visa. The current government plan will skip ALL of the requirements for that and it will result in trash coming

Young fella is right, the companies are using low wage labor for foreign workers which has then led to a lot of mistreatment. If they raised the wages then people would be more open to working in those industries. The government taxes the hell out of people making raising a family nearly impossible for a lot of the population. Stop filling the pockets of the nepotism of politicians and their friends.

If the solution is to raise wages why don’t they do it? Maybe because there is more to than solely raising wages? Also would Japanese react this way if it was white ppl? Also why are countries like Japan, are having low birth rates? These are genuine questions for me so like if someone has answers then Im all ears
