makes me mad when ppl say marie Murphy was a victim and marie lynch is a villain. THEY ARE THE SAME PERSON AND SHE BECAME A LYNCH MONTHS BEFORE DARREN??? She was always a victim and I'd say she cant be a "villian" in any scenario. Yes she caused joey problems but that was because of the environment she was in and the mental health problems she suffered. I also truly believe she tried her hardest to love joey

Both. She was a victim because of teddy’s abuse but that doesn’t excuse the abuse she inflicted on her children especially Joey. Joey himself even said the abuse he suffered from Marie was way worse than the abuse from teddy.

Both. She was abused and mentally manipulated and isolated by Teddy. He is all she’s ever knows from a very young age, especially after becoming pregnant so young. HOWEVER, she became the villain when she allowed her children so suffer abuse at the hand of Teddy. She had every resource to leave.
