@thefundedbrothers: How you can cut down your journey to becoming a profitable trader ⤵️ When I first started learning to trade I thought I’d nail it in 1 month… When that didn’t happen, I thought I’d master it within 1 year. When that didn’t happen, I realised there was going to be more to it than I initially expected! Fast forward 5 years… these are the 5 key things which accelerate my trading performance ⤵️ 1. Lowering my expectations for trades to present themselves each day. Not every day needs to be a trading day. Pick a session and stick to it. If you’re too busy to trade. Don’t stress. Embrace that you physically cannot and should not be sat at the charts all day everyday. 2. Follow HTF trends, they pay better. You can look for counter-trend trades later on. 3. It’s great to have trader friends. But keep your analysis to yourself. Taking losses is painful… but watching a trade play out without you after you were put off taking it because of someone else’s analysis is more painful! 4. Drop all the timeframes. You only need 2-4 timeframes. I mostly use (Daily, 4h, 15m and 5m). Having too many just creates noise and confusion. 5. Work on your discipline in all areas of your life. If you don’t exercise, and you feed yourself with junk food. How can you expect to perform well? Feed your body with nutrients and your brain will be more switched on. Look after your body and the discipline you practice in the gym will transfer into your trading ability. Taking less poor quality trades, and waiting patiently for the better quality trades.
