No such thing as creamer in Scotland for coffee, We use milk. Cream is used for desserts or sauces mostly.

American 'cream' for coffee is creamer not cream. If you want cream here, you need to buy evaporated milk. Not a lot of people use it so there isn't isles full of poison like in the US. If you ask for cream in your coffee here then you'll get what's called heavy cream in the US.

If you're in Livingston, just go to Livingston North train station, platform 1, and head to Edinburgh. It only takes 20 minutes. You're probably looking to get off at Edinburgh Waverly (that's the stop bang in the middle of town).

Yup there roads are something else, Lack of funding and the councils responsible for the upkeep spent billions on Cycle lanes and silly trams, during Covid, and have neglected other infrastructure needs. 😬
