Here’s the hard truth: You can absolutely be in great shape and still enjoy a drink here and there. 🍸 Like most fitness people I’m not here to preach sobriety or tell you to ditch a fun time. 🍹 I’m here to show you how to still look and feel great while enjoying your social life. But there’s a catch. There are RULES. And I follow them every time I occasionally do drink. Because obviously alcohol isn’t a health food, and it definitely stalls progress. It fks with your sleep 😴, digestion, and motivation. So here’s what I do to stay lean and confident with cocktails in hand: 1️⃣ I eat ALL my protein but save most of my carbs and fats for the evening. This way, I get my calories in line and still leave room for some drinks without blowing it all. 2️⃣ I move my body. 10k+ steps 🚶‍♂️, a solid workout, and a little extra walking. All of this creates a calorie cushion to help balance out the booze. 3️⃣ I pick ONE indulgence. Nachos or vodka, not both. If I’m drinking, I stick to clean foods….grilled chicken > cheesecake. 4️⃣ I keep it simple with drinks. No sugary cocktails. Just vodka + no sugar mixes. Let’s not make it worse than it has to be here And after drinks? I go home. I drink water. I don’t end up at Taco Bell at 1 AM. 🌮 The next morning? I get back to plan ASAP … PROTEIN, STEPS, water, movement. 💧🍳🏋️‍♀️ I’ve been doing this for 5+ years. I’ve built a system that lets me live and make progress.
