Took my friend from Virginia to King Taco to try the salsa roja, cause she bragged how SoCal salsa is weak. Now it's my fault that she doesn't eat any hot sauce.. 🤣

NYC has amazing South American food or like other types of Hispanic latin foods but the Mexican food/ tacos aren’t the same… I LOVE the empanadas from empanadas mama on steinway in Astoria!!! I stop there whenever I’m heading to LaGuardia.

I am from California and my fiance is from Ohio. When I went with him to visit his parents he took me to their family favorite Mexican restaurant and I had to pretend to enjoy it. 😭
