Why do you guys live in compounds? Why don’t you try and rent a place around locals and make friends and really mix with the culture?

We are Canadian expats, and we looked at renting villas or compounds but opted to buy instead. We just bought our newly built apartment near Granada in a very secure and luxurious facility, with amazing amenities including squash courts, men/women gym and pools, nursery, playgrounds etc. Why spend $$ for rent when you can buy, sell later and recoup was our mindset

there are so many good schools other than the american school, there are so many international schools and some schools actually have an IB programme etc. let me know if you are interested so I can share more regarding schools

i'm in Al Narjis too i'm new here in Riyadh came from london i used to live in khobar before but now i regret choosing a bigger house in Narjis last week the new school year started the traffic is just insane i wish i listened to my husband and lived in a small apartment in Al malqa close to everything work good schools..etc i'm changing next year inshaAllah Al Narjis is too far from everything and with the traffic now it's just not wroth it

Haven’t watched long but if you care about aesthetic then Nakhla villas are definitely not for you 😂 even after repainting all the rooms, the bathrooms are inexcusable

You are welcome to stay with your family in Saudi Arabia safe country you will have good time with your family and friends there’s many places at day time there many people go with there friends or relatives to walk around in many malls cool safe and to see others at evening depending you living weekend travel by cars 🚘 to east province if you like sea side or visit neighbor Mr google maps you can see the attractions places around your house 🏠 give time you will see many places with different locations and places

if you need a good list of schools dm me i will send you there are great top international schools in Riyadh but some are hard to get in your kid has to be smart and pass a test
