call and ask what state the doctor lived in that denied her claim. demand that doctors name and his state licensing number. ask them his expertise and what medicine he is allowed to practice. if they don't live in the same state as you and they are not experts in strokes then he has no legal right to deny her. report them to the state board where they are licensed and to the insurance board for making false denials.
