@bex_edwards: ‘Reticulata Blue' boasts vibrant cobalt blue blooms that burst from narrow foliage. Each bloom shines, thanks to bright yellow and white markings that run along the centre of the petals, forming a remarkable resemblance to a peaceful orchid. Appearing in March and April, these flowers are loved by bees and other pollinators, as they are an early source of nectar, and each one carries a heavenly fragrance. This variety produces a wonderful display when planted together in pots, while also working well in rock and gravel gardens. Preferring well-drained soil and a sunny location, they will happily naturalise and spread, returning bigger and better each year. The bulbs can even be lifted and divided in autumn for even more outstanding displays. This early flowering dwarf-natured iris is a native of the mountainous regions of Russia, Turkey and Iran. #irisflower #springflower #bulbs #gardentok #gardeningtips @YOU GARDEN LIMITED
