Longtime NCL cruiser and recently had a horrible experience with booking our next cruise. Spoke to multiple reps and supervisor who couldn’t/wouldn’t help, emailed all of upper management and support - no responses from anyone. Here’s what happened…went through the whole booking process, selected credits ($100 loyalty and 3 $250 CruiseNext credits), was happy with the price, completed payment. Thought all was good and grand…nope. Got an email that 2 of the CruiseNext credits couldn’t be used and we owe $500 more to complete the booking. It’s not our fault the website allowed us to select 3 (mind you we had more than 3 CruiseNext credits available and it didn’t allow more than 3 to be selected)…we figured if it allowed us to select AND go through the whole process, AND MAKE A PAYMENT, that is the amount we would need to pay. Seems like a bait and switch scheme and the lack of support is incredible given all the other cruise options out there. I’ve requested a refund of all our CruiseNext credits because after this experience we don’t plan to cruise with NCL ever again.
