If I’ve gleaned any lessons from my life thus far (I’m pretty stubborn so sometimes it takes 10 times bashing my head against the wall to actually get it) I’ve learned this: it’s not about the destination, but the journey along the way. And the journey? It’s definitely not linear and always full of surprises, but be grateful for it all. I have been singing and performing on public stages since I was 15. That’s over 2 decades out in the trenches of the Austin, Texas music scene. I’ve played a ton of incredible shows, a good handful of absolute dogshit shows, and everything in between. I’ve played to huge crowds, played some big festival stages even (like @ACL Music Festival!), but I’ve also played many a show to the sad bartender at an empty club. But every show is a blessing and I’m thankful to everyone who’s come to a show that I’ve had the pleasure to meet. I’ve released 33 (?!) songs on the major DSPs to date, with more songs on the way. Every song is different, every song is unique, and I’m proud of each and every one of them. My music has been played around the world. I’ve had my music featured on @npr @NPR_Music, I was a featured artist in AT&T’s 2022 Pride campaign with the incredible @VINCINT, and my music videos have won festival laurels... I’ve done some pretty cool things in my career over the years, and most of them I got by just putting myself out there! Even if I was scared to do it, I did it anyway! Sometimes (a lot of the time) I wish I was further along, more “successful” with more streams, more accolades, bigger shows, more money making opportunities in music, or more accepted by the bigger industry folks, but I’m so proud of all I have accomplished despite the odds and I know amazing opportunities are incoming! Music is my most freeing passion, and gives me purpose. My story told through my songs is a legacy that I can leave on this earth when I’m gone. If you’re here, thank you. If you support my music and my journey, thank you. Now if you’re still here tell me, how the hell do I get my music out there more?! Gimme ideas!
