wait until you learn that they grew eyes, I think to process more info about whats happening to them. they are also being used in tech. I dont think its ethical at all

It’s an interesting discussion. Do emotions come from the brain first? Or are they felt in the body and signaled back? Do we need senses to feel emotions? A lot of negative emotions come from not having needs met (hunger, loneliness, uncomfortability, etc). Without a body, are all needs met or does the brain have its own needs? Can this brain create memories?

I think so long as it doesn't have sensory organs it's unlikely it's aware it exists, in physical reality. it could still have consciousness but I think without any sensory organs the only time it'd be "awake" would be during the dream state. (Not a neuroscientist so this is purely guesswork)
