I have always loved having the help and splitting the tip is non-negotiable. If most/all prep is done for me, half of it belongs to the prepper. I pray your team takes care of each other, its a two way street.

I'm a bather and our groomer has us do her dogs + all the dogs that are just booked for baths and sometimes I have to do 25+ dogs, it's hell 😅

no this is why, as a groomer, i do not ask our bathers to bathe my dogs unless their schedules are empty and i'm overbooked. because the way they run around and bathe like 15+ dogs a day and are still expected to do all walk-ins then barely get paid for it makes me so mad. especially because i've been grooming for years and i still remember how stressful and just horrible being a bather was but it's like groomers forget that, and a lot never even experience it. i always make sure to tip the bather as all groomers should do, you guys deserve so much more appreciation

it’s so stressful especially bathing for 4-5 groomers 8am-2pm and we also have house baths we are responsible for and setting up boarders and doing laundry

when i was a dog bather the dog groomers left me to bathe 20 alone in 7 hours while training someone. all of the other bathers had quit. i was also in my first trimester and my manager knew i threw up after every dog. i quit the next day. no two weeks or nothing

that's why i always appreciate my bathers, and only ask for help if i truly need it. they make my job easier and they deserve the recognition and appreciation.

Got into a disagreement with both my bosses on a dog. Bathing that dog was like cleaning the goddamn demon but my Boss was like "Its sweet on my table!" Girl the doesn't matter that dog is extremely difficult in the tub 😭
