i promise you ppl in the comments that subscriptions are not the problem, $15 a month MAX for thousands of hours of gameplay is absolutely worth the price. the problem is that the social charm of mmos is more or less void now bc of accessibility to things like social media and discord

this is because the MMO genre hasnt evolved. the whole selling point was being able to communicate with people across the planet. social media and discord exist so the social aspect is gone.
