ok let me explain because I did my research the honey is the blood of the trees and the humans are the mosquitoes eating it. what them exploding is actually just a hand squashing them. like the tree sees the humans as mosquitoes biting it that it can just crush and forget about. But for some reason the trees do it so quickly that the humans don't see it
