@drill.and.music: Drill on the March , Saluting to the Flanks , Right and Left without and with Pace Stick #CapCut #britisharmedforces #usarmedforces #drill #marching
Taking you a stage further in your saluting, I am now going to teach you saluting to the flanks. The reason this movement is taught is to enable an individual or a body of men to pay the correct compliment to a commissioned officer or uncased colour approaching from the flanks in a smart and uniform manner.

Li-Ning :
Immediately on receipt of the word of command which I received as the left heel struck the ground I took a further marching pace of 30 inches with the right foot at the time swinging the left arm forward and the right arm to the rear. I then took a further full marching pace of 30 inches with the left foot, as the heel of the foot struck ground. I forced the right arm from the rear through the position of attention to adopt the correct position of the saluting to the right, at the same time I force the left arm into the correct position of attention. At the same time the head and eyes were forced square over the right shoulder into the correct position of the salute to the right, and I froze in this position.
POINT TO NOTE
The right foot is flat and firm on the left heel is on the ground and with the toes
