fb certified outbound tech here and this problem isn't very common but it happens occasionally. what happens is once the outbound falls into the water it could stop running possibly leaving you stranded. the only real fix is to not let it fall in the water anymore. hope my free professional knowledge helps!

I’ve worked in aviation for 8 years. Planes work a lot better if the engines are on the plane. I have a feeling this could also be the case here.
