@kyungbokkungusa is an incredible, upscale Korean BBQ experience you gotta treat yourself to. 7801 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620 How did I not know this place exists? The interior is so beautiful, with lots of private rooms available. Even if you don’t get a private room, the dining area is sectioned into little booths so it does feel private. You can get a “regular” KBBQ experience for about $60, but we went all out and got the wagyu course meal, which they’re known for. This is the “wagyu premium grill” course and it’ll set you back $129, but if you can afford to splurge, it’s worth it. It’s a 6 course meal, and comes with: Course 1: porridge, salad, radish water kimchi Course 2: spicy beef tartare, pan-fried sliced beef, cold salad, platter of 9 delicacies (basically you make a taco out of a bunch of toppings), glass noodles, vegetables Course 3: assorted premium wagyu (star of the show of course. It’s incredible) Course 4: Fried dish, seasonal soup, grilled dish, tricolor pancake Course 5: buckwheat noodle or stew and crispy rice Course 6: dessert and traditional tea I have never experienced korean barbecue like this before. I’ve also never tried the pan fried sliced beef - it’s essentially raw, and you roll it up with the greens inside and eat it like a wrap. There were actually a few things I’d never tried, like the tricolor pancakes and the platter of 9 delicacies. This is definitely one for the foodie to come try. Then there was the wagyu itself. It was insane. The quality is SO good and I can’t help but say the cliche: it melts in your mouth. Have you heard of this? It’s a must bookmark. . . #foodreel #feedfeed #koreanbbq #bbq #korean #wagyu #buenapark #fooddiscovery #eater #WhereToEat #datenight #upscale #orangecounty #foodinoc
