Ex pizzeria manager from Buffalo here! Chop the fingers up and mix it into the meat. Add a little more of the sauce that you used in the chicken fingers so it doesn’t dry out. Melt your cheese. I bet you it’s 100x better.

Living here in Buffalo NY I don’t know where your getting your sting from but I have never seen a string made with ground beef everywhere I eat a sub uses thinly sliced steak/chicken finger
