I think another issue is they’re making tv shows like they’re movies. If I wanted a movie I’d watch a movie. I watch tv shows for long term character development and over arching plots, not movie quality CGI.

studios don’t wanna let television be television anymore. everything has to be a big blockbuster event. massive budgets, long wait between seasons, expensive sets, actors, etc. they’re not making TV anymore, they’re just making movies in parts.

I don’t think we should compare shows and movies though 😭 If we’re talking tv shows, then yes. I don’t not wanna wait years in between seasons. But movies? They’re more than welcome to take their time to make the vision happen. I’d rather see a sequel movie that 5 years after but is a clear passion project instead of a sequel 6 months later where you can tell their hearts aren’t in it

Movies and tv shows didn’t just get sequels and new seasons instantly before the mcu at all I know this because I would go see a movie then pray to god and check Wikipedia to see if it got a sequel so this is not true at all

I'm still mad we haven't gotten any kind of news about a season 2 for Moonknight. it's been 3 years. and these companies will question why all their movies and shows do bad. I'm sorry but I will loose interest if I have to wait 5 years for a another season and only get 8-11 episodes
