My journey began as a 4’11” freshman in high school - a player constantly told not to expect much. Late growth and limited opportunities didn’t stop me from defying expectations, but I had to do it by rebelling against what I was told was my potential. It all started right here - finishing at the rim.
I didn’t have defenders to train against, and I didn’t have access to pickup games. I learned to finish on my own, by myself, in an empty gym - using creativity and innovative ways to make training feel more game-like. By my senior year, I was averaging over 30 points per game in the state tournament, scoring 45 in the district finals, and leading my team to the Michigan state semifinals. After finally receiving scholarship offers, I went on to become a three-time NAIA All-American and an IBL All-Star, proving that skill - not size or natural talent — defines success. That experience became the foundation of my mission. Every player wanted to know how the undersized kid became so skilled - and my answer was something new: Skill Enhancement. Through relentless innovation, I built a system that goes beyond drills and repetition - one focused on accountability, awareness, and true understanding of movement. This mindset led to the creation of training tools like the Med GripBall, DrillMat, Rip Roller, and RipLight - each designed to solve real skill-related problems players face on the court. Today, players from across the globe travel to the I’m Possible World Headquarters to experience these training methods firsthand, while thousands more develop through our RealSkill Membership online. Through our Technique-Driven Skill Enhancement (TDSE) Certification and Trainer University, I continue to educate and mentor trainers worldwide - ensuring that the principles behind I’m Possible’s success reach every corner of the basketball world.
