OK, crazy question, are you having the remains mailed to you as part of a way to make it faster for the people morning? I don’t understand why somebody wouldn’t just have that in their car when they’re visiting or does this happen when they’re far away and they get sent to the parents?😳😳

My family didn't trust any type of mail service. My oldest daughter flew home for a visit and took some of her little sisters ashes home with her.

I once delivered remains…wife was cutting grass, I respectfully approached her and handed her the box with my sympathy. She thanked me and dropped the box on the ground and continued to cut grass.

Why does anyone have to know what your mailing? People mail things all the time so how do they know that it’s someone cremated in the box? 🥰🥰🥰

Kinda funny story 😌 My step-dad passed away in an accident out of our state. When the funeral home called to say they had mailed his remains the man told my mom when she answered the phone, "Your husband is on his way" 🤭 She was still in a bad place mentally & it literally made her think twice, as in he was still living,but now we laugh😂

My dad showed up the day before Christmas! Unfortunately for my sister but in Good humor the pictures of the family with him the next day on Christmas were amazing and suited the relationships! We knew they were nailing him from FL to NC but the timing was karmic justice!😩🤣🥰

When I mailed my cat’s ashes to spirit pieces and had the pendant and remainder ashes returned to me I had to label it in a special box? Is it different for animal vs human?

We had to mail my brother from Belgium to the USA. We found out the hard way that they do NOT put remains in a bag before putting them into an urn. So yeah my brother’s urn broke and spilled out of the box. Needless to say, he’s unintentionally scattered between there and here. 🤦🏼♀️

Our mail man almost dropped my grandmother in front of me. He got told un nicely but not rudely to put grandma down, the dog in the house wasn’t the one he needed to be worried about. Found out he finally retired shortly after. (Never liked him and almost dropping my grandmother cemented my feelings)

The funeral home sent me a mini urn with my sisters remains and the mailman hand delivered it. He was very respectful saying it was the first he’d ever delivered. It had human remains all over the box.

I love the new system. Long over-due. Box clearly labeled as to content- excellent. No more days of stress on the family with slow delivery - excellent. Price is fair in consideration of what is the box - excellent. Once had a person lose-it a bit over the price. I just asked him if he wanted me to check into a round-trip flight for him. We laughed and he agreed that the post office was quite reasonable 😂😂😂

We will be burying a small amount of my Dad’s cremains near the Vietnam memorial that he is on as part of the Agent Orange section. Hopefully we don’t get caught. Apparently there are numerous other people out there.
