I’m going to be honest. Uptown died in the 2000s when they put in large corporate places. That was what ruined it. Before that, it was great. It seems like, and I hope, this is a return back to small local businesses. There’s definitely some good small businesses coming back.

Uptown is still a lively neighborhood but it’s nothing compared to 10 years ago. You can day this about a lot of neighborhoods including downtown tho
