Allow eachother to grow, experiment things even if it isn’t something you support - us humans are meant to explore and try things. Don’t let your insecurities stop your partner from living their life… if someone will do something regardless how controlling you are if they want to.

Something I learnt from my last relationship to this one is if you don’t like something they do from the start then it’s not going to work. Very rarely do people stop their habits and if it’s something you don’t see yourself being around for the rest of your life then either accept them for all their habits and behaviours or don’t be with them. You can’t change someone at the end of the day if they don’t want that same goal.

let them show you who they are, and believe it! don’t rush to do things for them because you assume you know how they operate, but also don’t come up with excuses for behaviour that repeatedly and knowingly crossed your boundaries. giving them space to be their own person helps you see them for who they are in their entirety, and you can better judge if they are good for you/who you wanna be with :)

If the communication is hard, observe his reactons to your way of saying things... try different approaches and give it time. Just give it time to get to know each other, don't push it.

I learned from my last relationship, if you feel off or are hurt from something they do earlier on, it's your intuition speaking to you it won't work. If you get in a relationship with them, and the pattern of hurt, confusing, or they make you act in a way you normally don't act, it will end in disaster. Listen to your intuition, it knows before your brain fully processes it, it knows before anything else. And when I didn't listen to it, well, I regretted it.

Similar to the 2nd slide, I made a 5-second rule too but mainly for banter😆. I would count down from 5 and if he couldn't start a conversation within 5 seconds he would "lose" (he wouldn't really lose anything but I'd be winning bragging rights💅 and ig that was the challenge). I started this rule because he was so nonchalant but it backfired because he uses this on me now😭, girls I've unintentionally raised a diva 😝✨️.
