Half the party made it to a town that was fully turned into vampire spawn, and had boarded themselves up. When the other half arrived, they decided to shout very loudly “The whole town is vampires!” So every vampire in town, deciding the jig was up, went feral.

We had a boss fight, decided not to rest before looking for the quest item we were sent for. Turns out that was just the pre-boss fight and now we’re fighting some kinda 100’ tall giant when most of us were below half hp 👍

my party had a perfect window for long rest before the boss fight so we could restore our hp and fight full strength but despite all reasoning and logic they all rushed in and the entire fight felt like purgatory

It’s always a coin flip with the party I’m in. Well either be defeating the dude who was meant to be the main antagonist in act 3 and making the dm rewrite everything, or we’ll get infected with an incurable divine disease because somebody decided to steal a drink from an obviously evil dude

We were supposed to be nonchalant and undercover tryna figure out who the main bbeg was. Player has character SLICE OFF A PART OF THE WALL FABRIC BC IT WAS FANCY. Pub/bar FULL of higher level bad guys. I opened a jar that held a fire elemental that I shook before doing so bc we were all gonna die 😅😅 we lived. town hated us.

Party went to a town that was being entirely run by a devil led mafia esque group of people. They had to get a ring off of the leader devil and ended up killing him. They were soon fleeing the city as it turned to chaos due to no crime regulation, fires were started, looting was occurring, etc. they decided as they were looking out over the chaos to use a cursed bag of holding (that had a chance to summon a random animal anytime it was opened) to airdrop animals onto the chaotic city. Anything and everything from penguins to t-rexes wreaked havoc as they sailed into the sunset 😔

I did this with my players I even asked 3 times "are you sure you wanna do that?" they were dead set...they all almost died and ended up negotiating their way out by giving up every piece of money they pretty collected🤣

I'd made a giant moth boss fight with writing put in place that the moth dying or surrendering would help the party learn about the past of the area. The party did nothing but beast taming rolls to try to recruit the moth the entire fight. Eventually I did let them tame it but then had to have servant of the BBG one hit kill the moth in front of the whole party or it would've broken the game.

Oh so we playing Avatar legends rn… I made the GM so proud bc I step out of my comfort zone (I’m new) and rolled high enough to ask serious questions. I saved the whole team and found out how to defeat a boss before we get to them 😇✨

Managed to spill the fact we were in the inner city illegally, had been through the forbidden mountain, were in the fay (fai?) wilds, and got a time bomb symbol on my hand all because I was bored and wanted to talk to a scientist……we had to take him to the fai wilds…
