You brought tears to my eyes. I have a daughter who is very similar. I have spent a lifetime apologizing for her behavior. And after decades of abuse and making excuses, all it took was her to say to me “have fun living in fear, mom“. That shut that door permanently. I live in a very small town and she is has been on the news several times. I know what they say when I turn walk away. Keep my Community safe and my home, I finally had her criminally charged. Just because there are your children and you love them. It becomes more important to protect the innocent. Tough thing to do, but needed to be done. Truth be told she may be my daughter that I don’t know her at all or what she’s capable of. Thank you for taking the time to listen to a mom who just really needed to hear that. Forgiveness from stranger, has the power to start the healing process. Thank you for being you and having kind words for a mother who wasn’t to blame for what the child had done. ❤️🙏❤️
