This comment section reeks of victim mentality. People, pull yourself together. This is the kind of mentality that led oppressors to try to "find a cure" for people like us. Look within. Wish I could hug everyone in the comments. I’m an older autistic person (30+). I promise it gets better—you’ll adapt and overcome. You’ll love yourself and even love your autism bc you think differently than most ppl can! You’ll embrace your “weird” as you get a bit older :) my worst years were my teens and twenties bc I wanted to fit in so badly, and now I could care less. We all will make it!

Based on the things I specifically struggle with bc my autism and ADHD and the parts that are really disabling for me, I really could’ve been rich, popular, attractive, and talented if I was neurotypical and it makes me so mad that there really are pple out there, even pple I know, who have at least a couple if not ALL those qualities and I feel like God really does have favorites. I feel ROBBED 😭
