@thesamplan: make your own BROWNIE BATTER BUILT PROTEIN BARS!!! dare i say..better than the original?!? what flavor should i make next?? (please say one of the new sour ones lol) servings: 14 96 calories (4.5f/8c/9p) INGREDIENTS: (bar) 2 cups chocolate milk (i used carb master for macros, so adjust accordingly if you use something else) 5 tbsp gelatin 3-4 servings brownie batter whey protein (i use a whey concentrate or isolate - SAMGWAZ for 10% off clean simple eats!) 1/4 cup sweetener of choice (i used a sugar substitute - swerve granulated) (coating) 10 ish servings chocolate (i love lilys for a low sugar option) + 1 tbsp coconut oil INSTRUCTIONS: 1. pour milk into saucepan and sprinkle gelatin on top in a thin layer 2. mix slightly and allow the gelatin to bloom (hydrate) should turn into a thick goo (about 10 min) 3. place over low heat and mix until it runs thin (about 5 minutes) 4. add to a mixing bowl and allow to sit for 5 minutes to cool slightly 5. add protein and sweetener- and whisk until it doubles or triples in volume (5-15 min, be patient!) 6. pour into parchment lined pan and allow to harden/cool for at least 2 hrs 7. once ready, cut into shapes and cover in melted chocolate + coconut oil mixture (coconut oil helps thin out the chocolate for a thinner shell over the marshmallow) 8. ENJOY! #healthyrecipes #Recipe #proteinbar #homemadefood
