@evdoxv: Just wanted to note, this wasn’t about wanting to be remembered, but about showing kindness to someone who has brought me so much comfort through his music and personality. That day, it was freezing and he looked so cold the whole time, so I kept saying how I wished I could give him my hot pack. I never expected it to happen. But it did. Not because I wanted recognition, but because I wanted him to know there are people who genuinely care about him as a person. That there are people that see him, as a human. When he told me he remembered that moment, it made me tear up from happiness, because it showed that small acts of kindness can stay with someone, even after time passes. That’s all I ever wanted: for him to feel cared for the way he makes us feel cared for. I never asked him if he remembered me, and honestly I don’t care about being remembered. I usually don’t pay attention to negativity, but it hurts to see people twist something that came from a place of pure sincerity. Some people are so quick to be mean when they see others happy, and I truly don’t understand why. Being kind is free, and it can mean so much more than people realize.
