@shaalalm: I’ve been reflecting on what the last decade really taught me. Not the Pinterest quotes, but the real-life lessons that actually shaped me. Here are 10 things I’m carrying into year 32. 1. Energy is currency. The people and projects that drain me usually aren’t worth the cost. 2. “Busy” doesn’t equal fulfilled. A packed calendar isn’t the same as a meaningful life. 3. Titles don’t define you. That promotion or job doesn’t mean much if you lose yourself in the process.. prioritize your mental and physical health. 4. Some friendships have seasons. It doesn’t make them failures; it makes them chapters. 5. Lifestyle creep is real. The more you make, the easier it is to spend without noticing. Keep your future self on the payroll too. 6. Rest is productive. Burnout doesn’t prove commitment—it just robs joy. 7. The version of “success” I once chased changed. And that’s okay. 8. Gut feelings are data. My instincts often had receipts long before I did. 9. Self-worth isn’t negotiable. It’s not a discount item to offer for approval. 10. Growth feels uncomfortable. If it feels awkward or hard, that usually means I’m leveling up. Life is messy, humbling, and beautiful all at once. Grateful for what I learned, and excited for what’s next. 🌱🥂 #birthdaygirl #birthdaydress #gettingolder #lessonslearned #30something
