Tree runners actually are very easy, my grandma and I used to make them along with baby clothes for donations every winter when I was younger! :)

Girl go make the oversized cushion, it only took me a day to make it and it’s absolutely massive and comfy (can fit my entire body) ps. You need A LOT of stuffings
